By answering some questions on a website, visitors can send a unique video to their friends where the narrator greets them personally and highlights items from the catalogue that are of interest (based on their friend's responses to the questions). These video clips are created by combining the appropriate individual clips from a large archive of footage. Once the clip is created it is sent to the recipient's mobile phone, bringing the Littlewoods brand into the heart of their personal life, with the benefit of having been recommended by a trusted friend. At the video's end the viewer is given a URL to a unique page in the online store where the items shown are available to purchase, they are also encouraged to create more video clips for their other friends, increasing the campaign's virality.
