About Me:

Specialising in Live Art, New Media Art and Visual Art, I graduated in Contemporary Art from MMU in Alsager then went to Manchester Business School to study European Business and Management.

I arrived at b.TWEEN08 after spending time in the Sandbox at the Media Centre at UCLAN thanks to an award from the NESTA Insight Out scheme for creative entrepreneurs. I won a Nintendo DS Lite for being the 'most networked person' at b.TWEEN08, an award I am most proud of.

I am now working with Manchester Business School and the NHS to develop a creativity network around mental health in Merseyside.

For the six years before all of the above, I ran an events magazine focused on clubs and live music in Stoke-on-Trent. I also played guitar (Guild semi through Vox AC30) in a band. Despite being inspired by the Elvis bit in KLF's Chill Out and the guitar solo in The Velvet Underground's What Goes On, no commercial success came our way.

My favourite hobby is cooking;
*favourite ingredients - squid, egg and samphire;
*favourite styles - those that involve stuffing, wrapping and coating;
*favourite knives - David Mellor;
*current fad - kidneys with chilli, garlic and spring onions with noodles and beansprouts.
