Ana de Moraes moved to the UK in 2000, working as a correspondent for the Brazilian newspaper Gazeta Mercantil. Her TV career started in 2003, when she joined Endemol’s development team, working on projects such as Celebrity Art School.
After moving to Twenty Twenty Television in 2004, she went on to become Head of Development, was named a Broadcast Magazine Hot Shot in 2007 and was responsible for developing the original ideas for programmes such as the Bafta winning The Choir (BBC), Grandad’s Back in Business (BBC), Never Did Me Any Harm (C4), My Boyfriend the Sex Tourist (C4), and the forthcoming The Insiders – Twenty Twenty’s first multi-platform project, for Channel 4.
