Ibrar qualified with 2:1 Bsc Applied Chemistry at the University of Coventry and a degree in Youth and Community Development from Bradford University. He developed a career in Insurance working as an underwriter prior to beginning a new career to pursue his passion in youth work. Initially working with the Probation Service Ibrar has since worked with both statutory and voluntary sector organisations before moving into the third sector. During his time at university Ibrar set up a local social enterprise aimed at delivering informal education to young people. A successful venture, employing one full time and 6 part time members of staff by the end of the first year.
Ibrar moved to Unltd in 2005 to work on the Bigboost programme as the Development Manager for the North of England. Following a successful delivery he moved into his current role as a Development Manager for Unltd Sports Relief, Unltd’s second venture focusing on young peoples work.
Outside of his passion for working with young people Ibrar owns a property management company with assets of approximately £2 million consisting of both commercial and residential property around the UK.
