About Me:

Media -Sauce is a London-based company who provide innovative training and development opportunities to creative organisations across the Digital, Games, TV, Film and New Media industries. We offer businesses the opportunity to broaden their industry knowledge and gain multi-platform experience through collaboration and knowledge sharing experiences.

We are running the One Media Unconference in the Autumn with support from Nesta, Skillset and Pact along with Unexpected Media and 01zero-one. OMC is a 2 day event exploring new business models across all media industries.

Mel Norman has worked in old media for 10 years as a film and tv Producer, she moved over three years ago and now works as Programme Director for the London Games Fringe and Programme Director for Digital Horizons, Screen South's cross platform programme.

In her teens she went to the Smoky Mountains to find her fortune selling books trailer-to-trailer when she realised doing a Humanties degree would not, necessarily, increase her job opportunities and wanted to pick up a few 'transferable' skills for the media industry. Over 3 months  she was rejected by 50 people a day, held at gunpoint, and found herself being sold the benefits of joining the KKK, Mormons and Anway.
