necessary productions Ltd creates narrative films and documentaries primarily for TV.

Based in Torquay, Devon, we are a group pf media professionals, who in early 2008 came together to form a Production Company. We outsource our Post, for rendering, colour/sound, proofs, mastering for broadcast, duplication and delivery. 

We only film in HD 16:9 PAL (for the UK) and have qualified and experience crew: Producer/Director, presenters, voice artists, writers, researchers, sound, lighting, editing, DP, cameras, locations, titles and SFX.

With a full crew in California plus a team of musicians, the opportunities are endless.

With 27 years' experience as a Business/Management/IT professional I have skills in presentation, running a business, people and project management, research and innovative thinking.  With my very first attempt, I recently won the Award for Best Screenplay 2008 from the San Jose Film Project.

We are currently in Production on a six-part documentary series about Industrial Hemp and the War on Drugs, and a single full-length documentary about a teenage Rock School.
