Raoul Simpson, 31, has worked as a lighting designer / artist for just over a decade. Much of his time is taken up designing bespoke private commissions, however he has also incorporated theatre, television and music into his wide repertoire, as well as having been commissioned to undertake design work for Cirque du Soleil, MTV, and a host of private and corporate clients in the UK, Europe and further afield.Raoul has also designed temporary and permanent lighting installations, using a wide variety of light sources – particularly LED and other low voltage, low maintenance units. He also works extensively with video, not just as a medium to reproduce images, but as a light source in its own right.
