Steve Taylor is convergence personified, the serendipitous result of a long, unplanned and somewhat random career. He's been a journalist, magazine editor, TV presenter/producer, brand strategist, inventor, head of ideas and a founding director of a pioneering digital content studio based in Montreal.

He is currently Director of Development & Innovation at the UK arm of Aegis, the only remaining independent global media network, a lovely job that combines re-engineering 'traditional' media agencies with developing new businesses, most of them digitally-based.

He is also a writer and is working on his second and third books, both of which address the future of communications: one as series of fictional stories, the other as a polemical argument. Stories from the first one are currently being published online in serial form. His other interests include creating social media, yoga, Spain, food, wine and, given a sufficiency of the latter, dancing to funky music.
