wemedia/corporate media

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

Just two quick comments and I ownt mention it further.

So we media finished. It was supposed to be about the new emerging roles of citizens on the web but in reality it was about corporate backslapping by people who just wanted a big stage to be seen as forward looking on.

The wemedia fringe promised to be more interesting but in the end a lot of it turned into student level polemic. Thats not to say that some of it wasnt really interesting - the number of BBC people was too high too.

That said it would be nice to see it develop next year.
